Many of you have probably already noticed that picjumbo went through a major change over the last few days. And yes, we have done some of the biggest updates since the very beginning of picjumbo.

We changed FREE version of picjumbo.com, as well as the whole PREMIUM Membership. And in the meantime we also managed to capture some of the best picjumbo pictures yet. This will be big!

picjumbo PREMIUM Membership

We started testing a new version of PREMIUM Membership, where the most important changes are the new plans and new pricing.

We have finally returned from the San Francisco trip and now we can start editing the many and many of pictures we have taken in this awesome city. San Francisco is a paradise for photographers! And because I didn’t want to keep you waiting too long, I at least choose some 20 pictures, edited them and published them through the PREMIUM membership, so you can use them as soon as possible and also see what you can expect soon!

In the following weeks, you can expect pictures of Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, skyscrapers, oceans, iconic spots in San Francisco or pictures from bird’s-eye view.

Greetings from the windy San Francisco which I’m visiting in order to bring you the best pictures of this amazing city!

Over the last few days I took almost 700 pictures and I can’t wait to sort them, edit them, publish them and then see them in your designs, applications or blog posts. There will be many pictures made available for free on picjumbo, but because I have just so many, there will be also a large amount of pictures published within the PREMIUM Membership.

You are awesome! Yes, maybe the April’s Fools article was a little over the top, but it was only a simple joke. What surprised us, though, was that it seemed real to you! As in, that you consider picjumbo so good that it could be acquired by someone so big.

But unfortunately no, Google did not buy us – yet! Nothing changes and you can still download all the pictures you like for free.

We are, however, planning some new features!

We are proud to announce that, starting today, picjumbo will be under the wings of Google, who has acquired it after weeks-long negotiations.

The content of picjumbo will be implemented into several Google apps and interfaces from now on; mainly into the Google Office suite where the photos will be available for direct use in text documents (Docs) or in presentations (Slides). Selected photos will be also available as system-default wallpapers in the Android and Chrome OS.

For regular picjumbo users everything stays the same – our photos will continue to be available for free on picjumbo.com

Five hours of photo shooting, 8 hours of post-processing and now it’s done! Here comes another picjumbo PREMIUM collection with 89 photos!

This time small electronics, laptops, tablets, phones and other gadgets. All of today’s pictures were taken in modern workspace settings and they are pictures of all the gear that we use daily – and not only for work!

This kind of photos is one of the most demanded by you — you can use them for a lot of blog posts about marketing, writing, designing, drawing, working from home office or for your tech startup, design agency etc.

Have you ever walked in the clouds? If you have seen the latest PREMIUM pack ‘Snow Nature’, you might have had noticed that these photos are no regular pictures taken from the ground. But neither from a ski lift or a plane!

To take these pictures, we have walked up the new and extraordinary observation tower named Sky walk that took us 1,116 meters above the sea level (the tower itself is 55 meters high). Fact also worth noting is that this tower is unique not only in the Czech Republic – it is one of a kind in the whole world!
